Due to lack of interest (only 10 or so runners willing to stump up the €300+20), they changed this into a €150 DC. 20 runners I think, 4 got paid, ocallagh came 4th and I came 2nd. Played terribly and was card dead, thank the god of outdraws for paying me off! Will put a full report up on my blog tomorrow.

Another cash in the SE when I'm not there to see it. I'm getting suspicious!! ;)

    Well done Paul.

No need for suspicion, it is quite easy to explain...I cash *because* you are not there to see it, not 'when'! Playing poker when you're around is like trying to putt when Tiger Woods looks on, or drive a car when Michael Schmacher is your navigator :)

the SE is about as popular as this thread at the moment..... disastrous night. CL with 4 left. Call off half my stack with A9 to my opponents all-in on a K64 flop.....then proceed to bluff the rest of my chips away. I enjoyed the game up until we go 4 handed..

nice result 2nd Paul! We were both suffering from major hangovers so i'm sure it would have been a 1-2 finish if we weren't both half asleep!

I presume the lad down the end won it? I can't think of his name.. Decent guy and he deserved to take it if he did. Out of 9 attempts to nick his BB I lost all 9.... lol

Tong G won it AFAIK. The €50 dc appears to be the only tourney getting any decent numbers at the moment. Cash tables are busy every night. 4 last night plus 12 on the waiting list at one stage.

Niall, he came 3rd. The other lad (between you and I) knocked him out - at that stage he had 60k and I had a little over 30k. He sent Alex over to find out the final two payouts and was talking about a split, but in the meantime the dealer dealt me the ladies in the 1st HU hand. I limped, he raised all-in on the BB (pot of 6k, he raises to 60k!) my eyes light up as I throw in my chips, he has A9o, hits an A on the flop :( HU lasted just one hand, before Alex came back with the payouts info! Oh well, after my series of disgusting outdraws earlier on the final table, I wasn't so unhappy about being outdrawn myself.
