i saw in the sticky that there's a show on tomorrow:
Apr 9th Car Show, Castle Durrow, Co Laois. Meet in the Red Cow at noon. Lunch in the Abbyleix Manor Hotel.

i've been to the last 2 city west shows and they're ok, but would i be better off going to the one in laois instead?
will there be many meeting at the red cow?
will noon not be a bit late to leave, i heard the car park was full by 2pm last year. when are ye stopping for lunch @ Abbeyleix? on the way down?

also my mate has a classic mini he wants to sell, can he just sort it out when arriving at either the laois or city west show, or do you have to have a place booked in advance?

    all help appreciated :)

It shouldn't take more than an hour to get to Laois from the Mad Cow.
I think your mate would be better off saving his fifty quid and using for the day out in Durrow,(petrol, food) as you can also sell a car at a free show when the buyers juices are flowing and may not evan know he/she wants one till they see it.

Never been to the one in Laois david!

I dunno if Rob should stick the car inside the show, or just leave it in the car park with a For Sale sign on the inside!

i was talking to rob earlier and i think he wants to head to citywest coz it's handy for us in lucan. i'd prefer to head down to laois, so i'll see can i sway him- is there more cars at the show in laois than citywest?

    No idea.

I cant afford to head to Laois I dont think, but get him to give me a ring or text before you head and I might be swayed!

well the laois show was worth the journey - great atmosphere and abnormal sunny weather. many great cars there. had fun with backfire on the roads aswell [all legal of course].

Sounds like I missed a great day! Had a good laugh getting lost after the citywest show, ended up on some sweeet backroads.
    Any pics?
