I bought a few foreign talents when they were 15/16 and they have been in my youth setup for at least a year and they are breaking through to the first team. When I wanted to register them for the CL, they werent classed as HG. Whats the rules on Home Grown Talent?

I think they must come from the youth academy ie. appear in the u-19s at the end of a season. I have found it difficult myself sometimes to register the players I want with this rule

They have to be in the country for 3 years and from before they are 17 to count as homegrown.
