    Hi All,

    I looking to buy a new system which will be primarily used for a CAD type application which also involves pretty heavy number crunching. My budget is 2k approx. I understand not to skimp on the RAM and am looking at possibly getting 2gb of it. But I am lost as to what processor to get. A P4 with HT technology or a dual core pentium??
