I cant belive that people still say "the lads that did zig and zag do podge and rodge"
maybe this would explain all the ugly babies in the sunday world

They don't do interviews or publicity out-of-character so I'd say it would be difficult to find pics..

Incidentally did any of you watch the episode of The Den where Podge was first introduced? I remember Zag was trying his hand (ho ho) at being a ventriloquist much to Zig's dismay as the puppet was actually alive! and evil!

I can still remember the song!

    Po-o-odge and Za-ag, Po-o-odge and Za-ag, Po-o-odge and Za-ag, the Podge and Zag show!

Back when children's television had good storylines... People nowadays forget the wonderful introductions that both Podge and Dustin got on The Den. Now all the kids have is Socky.

Shouldn't you be looking for pictures of hands? Isn't that's what behind Podge and Rodge?

The lads that do Podge and Rodge were profiled in the Sunday Times about two weeks ago.

The guys behind Zig, Socky and Dustin are all brothers.

Po-o-odge and Za-ag, they're really good bu-u-dies, Po-o-odge and Za-ag, the Podge and Zag show!

My nick-name in primary school was Dag, and I had a mate called Podge, so people used to sing that song with Dag instead of Zag. It's now burned into my long-term memory.

    The Horror...

Mmm, what are the odds on a puppet having a puppet of his own that turns out to be an evil [strike]genius[/strike]idiot. Leading Zig and Zag on interesting adventures involving thwarting the machinations of the local postman who shockingly turned out to be Podge in a poor disguise (a hat) and the Christmas special as a slight homily to (or ripoff of) the Beatles' Help! movie.
    Po-o-odge and Za-ag, Po-o-odge and Za-ag, Po-o-odge and Za-ag, the Podge and Zag show!
Don't forget the "they're really good buddies, everybody loves them, especially Zag" bit. Zag wasn't exactly the smartest cookie in the jar I guess.

I had a French teacher in school (circa 1992) that we called B.O. Podge.

There was a verse to the song that ended 'They're such good fun' too. Ah, the memories.

I hated Podge for doing things and then blaming Zig though. Like the time he broke Ray's Pierre Le Plonk clock. Very infuriating.
