I wouldn't bet on it. I wonder how they do it?

CRAZY STUPID THEORY(im no inventor, im not as stupid as this makes me out 2 be):

What if they used mulitple (high freq.) sound waves at different frequencys, and where they all met(at a set distance) created an effect of a wall(to the volitile projectile) and thats what sets it off?

    Or just throw a rock.....:D

All this will mean is that tanks will now have 2,3,4 rpgs fired at them at a time: trophy will have a set limit to the amount of targets it can similtaneously track/shoot.

Throw enough ****e and some of it is bound to stick.

Or people will start using more anti tank mines or hidden explosives(which are a bigger threat than rpgs...)

im sure a nuke will do the job id like to see it track one of those...

Dont think it actually neutralise's it. More like it sends some sorta projectile to intercept it at a certain range which moves it off target or makes the projectile go off before it hits the target.

    1. I cant see some arabs etc usin a nuke since they aint got any or a idea how to make em.... still , forget that, pakistan & india , But still wouldnt be worth it.

    2. A nuke has massive blast radius so even if it was intercepted, the blast would still be effective.

They just use forcefield to explain how effective it is. Its actually just a really advanced version of any other anti missile system. It detects the missile and shoots out something to intercept it before it can strike the tank.

There are three letters ruining any attempts to acquire or make nuclear weapons: CIA. They're smarter and better funded than you can imagine. Add to that the fact that no one is willing to sell nuclear weapons or enriched uranium and getting your hands on nuclear weapons is very tricky. Hence why theres all that crap aout Iran, they don't want fundamentalist Muslims having the capacity to make enriched uranium.

Look carefully. You will see projectiles going the opposite direction before detonation.

Maybe some REALLY strong magnets might work too. Some american/british tank also have explosive armor, so when a round hits it, it will cause a smaller explosion before the large round goes, deflecting the large explosion away from the tank.(the tanks metal armour can withstand the small explosion)

The explosive armour has been on the go for quite a while now. All the rpg makers did was alter the design of the projectile so the explosive armour wouldn't effect it.

If it works the way i think it works, by tracking the heat from the rocket, Then would they not only have to change the method of prepulsion of the rocket to get around it?

Not up to date on my military weaponary but just a thought.

they'd probably be like flares or smoke screens on tanks, press x for an incomin rocket and then you have to wait for it to reload, so you'd still be vunerablel, good idea...but i dont see the need for it in the game unless' its too make it a more thinkin mans game:p

looks cool but probably too big and more importantly too expensive to mount on yer basic Humvee where most of the troops are being killed. wont protect from roadside bombs either which is the insurgents no1 american killing weapon.

also wouldnt like to be a dismounted soldier near it when it activates. or a civilian nearby.
