    Hi, i recently did an advanced RMA with western digital, so I now have to send back the old HD back to germany.
    What postage method did you use, and roughly how much did it cost?

    An Post, and it cost me about €7-€10 i think. I sent it registered post just in case it got lost. Unfortunately WD were out of 160GB hd's at the time, and in the end (after 3 weeks of none being in stock) they just sent me a 250GB, so i was happy enough with the service ;)

    it'd cost more than that for registered post. it's up to you whether you go with that though...

    If they're happy with an post, then an post it is. It was going to br about 30 with UPS.
    Hmmm, they weren't out of stock of 160GB's on me :)

    From An Posts online calculator, a 0.1kg packet sent from ireland to berlin costs €6.50 via registered post (inclusive of €150 insurance).

    0.875kg, cost me 11 today. Not too bad. Normal registered post.
