    Hey,

My gf is looking at some bags on Ebay and shes wondering if it says its authentic, is it actually authentic.

    The bag(s) in question can be seen here;

    http://cgi.ebay.ie/Authentic-New-Womens-Chloe-Handbag_W0QQitemZ6868620438QQcategoryZ63852QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Im told its quiet the bargain, a little too good to be true. So we(she) is wondering can we(she) trust the description?

    TIA
    Jumpa

It says 'Invalid item', but yes, you can be pretty certain it's fake if it's very cheap. They can do excellent copies.

More than likely it's fake but there's a chance it may have fallen off the back of a truck or something like that.

The copies are usually very good quality anyways - people can't tell the difference.

If it's the real thing, it should have a serial number by which the company would recognise it. If it doesnt have a serial number, it's fake.

I bought a bag there before. It fell apart as soon as i got it. I sent it back (cost a fortune to send back ) and they replaced it.

Exact same thing happened the new one.

Put me off buying bags off ebay anyway.

Yes, there is a high likelihood that they are fake if they are well under the actual price.

I purchased a bag from ebay and did my research with regard the dealer and everything turned out ok for me.

I have my doubts as to whether the item is genuine but have compared the bag to the real thing in BT and it certainly looks, feels and smells (it's leather) the part.

I'd er on the side of caution when purchasing and make sure that you are 100% happy with the dealer.
    A.

Hey, have a look at the seller's record and reliability percentage, testimonials on site will give you a good idea of how dependable they are

Somebody got fake bags and had a thread in the online buying forum, I would say ebay is full of fakes, wording means nothing, authentic would ring alarm bells in my mind.

if you have the user name enter it in www.toolhaus.org to see just the negative and neutral feedback.
