As far as I'm aware, if it just says "Brown Bread" on the packet, it more than likely isn't as healthy as people think - likewise, multigrain is often false advertising, as multi means greater than one, and doesn't tell you which grains exactly are being used.

As a rule I always go for either Wholemeal or Wholegrain and notice most people [in work] think they are going healthy because they are having a brown bread sandwich, when in reality they don't even read the labels properly.

    Any comments welcome;)

Even wholegrain and wholemeal can be wrong/misleading. If you read the ingredients it will tell you far more than the label. Many still have a mixture of wholegrain and normal wheat flour.

What about the likes of 'Big Toastie'? That says wholemeal on the side.
