Free Ryanair FLights - Pay Taxes only - till Friday midnight

Ryanair are doing a publicity stunt, they are giving free flights (you pay taxes) to anyone who has sent a complaint to Aer Lingus.
“If Aer Lingus has not replied to your letter of complaint within six weeks or lost your luggage within the last year, send your complaints to freeflights@ryanair.com before midnight on Friday April 7th. All senders will receive a free flight* with the airline that offers the lowest fares, biggest choice of routes and best customer service”

I just done it and got a flight to London for €45 return. You send them an email of the complaint, they reply with a password and a link, you go to the link and book your flights. There are no strings attached, you can go any time and day even weekends.

I didn't have a real complaint but just made one up and emailed it. There is no way they can check if it is valid or not.

It's a autoresponder that just sends you the password (freeflights). You can write anything you want! I just made up a letter to Aer Linugs moaning about them losing my bags and taking 2 days to find them.

How on earth is it a "FREEFLIGHT"?.....if you are paying €48.46c  .

Looks to me like a clear breach of the Trade Descriptions Acts, Advertising Standards Authority ! legislation.

    P.

If powercity gave out free tellys, you would still have to pay the licence fee

"Offer available on selected routes only. "
You can say that again. Tried so many routes and dates. All I managed was London at some awkward time. Useless in other words.

Ryanairs customer service (if you can access it) is as bad if not worse than Aer Lingus' therefore it's a bit rich them pulling a stunt like this:rolleyes:
