Downloading From XBOX LIVE!

    Has anyone else noticed how slow downloads are from LIVE!. I would say I am probably getting a max of a quarter of my DL speed. Or is this all I can expect for my yearly subscription?

    Don't get me wrong I love LIVE!, I have had it since launch, but why is it sooo slow. I pay the same fee for fileplanet and I always max out my DL speeds.

    For some reason I always cancel my d/ls @ 5% and go back to them on live, then it whooshes up to 51% - I know its prob no different speedwise but funny nonetheless..........

    Just tried that myself, was at 22% on Tomb raider, cancelled, restarted and it went from 24% directly to 56%..............mad..

    yeah that happens me too! its just the download bar not updating when it should for some reason - oooh say buggy ms software :rolleyes:

    Same thing happens to me. I just put it down to M$ software misreading the actual file size. Sound familiar ??

    yeah I assumed as much, but back to my origional question, does anyone else notice how slow downloads are on LIVE!??
