Hi. I have a brother MFC-210c which takes 4 cartridges, 1 black and 3 colour. The black one is about €22 and the colours €14-15. After buying one set a while ago I noticed a warning that one was running low. I didnt fancy paying €60-70 again, so decided to try online. I expected to find reasonable deals in the UK or Isle of Mann, where I purchased years ago.

To my surprise and delight I found in my search a link to a store in Monaghan. I selected my refills (cartridges) and couldnt believe the price--€17.95 for the full set of 4.

And if your order was over €20 delivery was free! So I ordered 2 lots (8 cartridges for €35.90) on Monday and guess what....? They arrived Wednesday. Also I thought one of them looked a bit different so rang he number, it was immediatel answered by a pleasant girl who assured me I had the right ones.

Now I know they are compatibles, and may not last as long, but at that price they will still work out a lot cheaper. AND fast delivery, good service, and Irish!

So I hope you will allow me to post their link....

    https://inkjet.ie/

oh and say Kevin sent you....they might give me something!!! ( honestly I dont have anything to do with this company, I just thought, Irish and great value....fair play)

    regards

    kevin

Sorry to spoil your party but its remanufactured stuff they supply. I think a quick search around online stores will yield better prices.

I checked the prices for my inkjet cartridges and i can buy the originals for the same price as inkjet.ie are charging for the remanufactured stuff

I just paid Viking €26 inc. vat and delivery for 3 original Canon Inkjet cartridges.

Then I get on Ebay and find the same ones (not refills) from the UK for about €14 in total.

D'oh! Will know better next time

Refill fax cartridges are cheaper on there as well...cannot really justify paying €40 for an original instead of €20 for a refill.

Well i got this "Rip Off Deal" as you out it, from the website whose address I posted. I'm porbably dull, but will you explain to me how 8 cartridges which would cost €128 are a rip off at
    €35.90....??

OK, i understand theyre not the same as the original. But I had already bought the original black some time ago at €22 and it didnt last that long, I felt.

So I will report back how long they lasted, when the time comes.

Muffler, will you tell me what exactly is remanufactured? I mean, I know theyre not originals, but if its ink, and it prints..??

    Regards

OK i went to Cartridge World, they dont list my printer. So I just did a search and came up with this place in UK

    http://www.bs-print.co.uk/brother_mfc_210c_printer_cartridges.htm

Where the full set is £22 (about €30-32) just a little cheaper than Monaghan. Am I missing something, I still think inkjet is good!

    Hi

I think they are cheaper in pricestorm.com as they are originals.

I used to buy from them. Their delivery was quick but I found their cartridges didn't last very long. They dried up very quickly. I now buy them on Ebay though I did pick up a bargain set of 4 for my Epson from Just Media in their new shop in Ballymun for only a tenner last Sat!

I've been buying my Lexmark cartridges from here also for the last 3 years. I did a lot of searching around the online stores and pricestorm were definitely the cheapest for the Lexmark originals. The last couple of cartridges I bought I got them on ebay and saved a few quid even on pricestorm's prices.

Just thought I'd mention that the Lexmark cartridges appear to come in 2 different sizes now (volume of ink) so be careful when buying especially from ebay. For example my printer uses no. 16 and no. 26 cartridges. You can buy no.s 17 and 27 which fit alright and do the same job but there is only about half the amount of ink in them.

I have used the recycled ink and remanufactured cartridges before but I find that they do not last as long and the ink/print quality is not that good.
Anyway it depends on what you need the ink for. I correspond with solicitors, estate agents, local authorities etc and I think that the quality/presentation of documents needs to be good.

Well its good to know theres lots of options at least! I dont mind the cartridges being reconditioned, I mean I knew at that price they werent originals. Is there a difference between reconditioned and compatibles?

    Cheers
