    Toyota's loss IMO.
Should be interesting to see if their cars start to fall back on the grid over the year without him.

No loss, tbh. Renault haven't exactly fallen down the grid since he left. He never sticks around at a team for longer than a couple of years, so I doubt that any decent team will be stupid enough to hire him after this.

Never had much of an opinion of Gasgoyne except he has a fantastic habit of jumping ship when it looks like the team he works with seem to be on the up then they seemed to slide (probably coincidental) with the exception of Renault. Personally I think he's been found out as a fraud (well fraud is a bit harsh) but I don't think he's the brilliant designer everybody thinks he is. I think he only thinks of pocket first and team second. Toyota realised that quickly look at all the stupid bits he got stuck on the Toyota and for what a car that has no grip. They decided enough is enough and sacked him

He does tend to jump ship but every team he's gone to: Jordan, Benneton/ Renault, Toyota have moved way up the grid while he's been there. That can't be just coincidence.

He's certainly talented but if the reports are to be believed he's a w@nker to work with/ for.
