Help needed for Mature Student Interview

Hi. I have a interview next week with both the science department and Eccomics deartment next week. It's for a mature Students position with in a course. Cany anyone advse as to what questions I may be asked

Why do you want to do Science/Economics?

We weren't being rude, it's just that I'm not aware of anyone who uses these boards being a mature student and so we can only guess as to what you'll be asked.

There's a Mature Students Society in college so maybe you could get in touch with them and one of them will be able to help you.

And don't be so sarky. You could have rang both the Departments by now and see if they could offer any tips or anything instead of relying on boards.

Given that members of TCDSU are so active here, I thought the least they might do was offer some advice. Or offer some insight Instead of jabbering how great to is to be in trinity, and who they can get anyway with this that and the other because there in trinity. Self important tossers. Maybe hitler had the right Idea he just didnt think big enough.

I applied for several courses a few years ago, the interviews are very straight forward, why do you want the course, what have you been doing until now, are you willing to study, do you know how hard it will be to return to college, I got everyone I applied for which surprised me, you dont really need to prepare, just be yourself and be able to talk!

Colleges love mature students because they are the students who have a purpose, who know why they want to be there, oh one thing i said at them all, was that having tried the employment market for 6 years and being in and out of jobs, I realised how important qualifications are.
