Can anyone reccomend a panel beater?

Anyway my girlfriend's scooter dropped on the passenger door of my car when she was getting off it, and dinted it. It's not a bad dint at all but the paint is metallic so it catches the light and although it might go unnoticed to 95% of people looking at the car I'm painfully aware of it's existance (had a load of bodywork done a few months ago).

So I'm looking for recommendations for a sympathetic (one who won't look at me like I'm a tit when I show him the small little dint) panel beater in Dublin City. Any help greatly appreciated! :D

If its only a small dent and the paint isn't broken you should try one of the paintless dent removal people, they don't generally deal with the public but if you ring a car dealer around your area they will give you a number for them.

No, the paintwork is still fully intact. Will ask the mechanic I'm bringing the car to on monday about a panel beater who can do the sort of work you mention. Thanks.

ChipsAway was mentioned in an earlier post as doing an excellent job at a very good price (60 euro I think) post may be a couple of months ago. If you can't find it in the Dublin phone directory/Yellow Pages then it might be worth looking though other posts here (maybe one on alloy wheel refurbishment?). My memory's gone to hell...

You could try DentsAway - Eddie Knight, did excellent work on the door of my CLk about 4 months ago ! Ph. 087 2868500 he does Citywide and if its only the one small dent it'll be about €60-70 !

Ha Ha I dont crash my car, I just use this garage for the
fleet in work I work for a well known building company and
we use this garage for all repairs to cars owned by us and
damage done by us. Also the majority of our employees use
this garage. But I will admit that ive had a couple of knocks
    over the years :)

Oh on another note they are great at removing cement from
    your paint work:eek:

In some cases, metal can get stretched too much and can't just be 'popped' into place (which is basically the paintless technique). It depends a lot on the dent and the metal involved.
