Heineken cup 3 pk tkts loyalty?

Heard some guy on the radio yesterday from the irfu mumbling bout the people who bought 3 pack leinster tickets will be eligible for semi final tickets .... someone please tell it is so !!!!

Otherwise I'm gonna lose what little hair I have left trying to find tickets.

Also thought about begging and pleading with irfu ( loyal supporter, coached u8 thru u14's, reffed for years etc. etc. ) but figured I hang on to my dignity for at least another 10 days .... then all bets are off !

Hehe, i think we had five or six tickets for those (four for my family and two for some friends of ours) - it wont just be done by "one credit card, one ticket" would it? (thats if they do do it.

Well, God Bless Leinster Branch because, according to an email I just got, I've won the right to [buy] two tickets to the match because I bought the triple-pack earlier in the year.

I'm just praying it isn't a hoax....

I'm sorry, thats a really crass answer ruggie - i'm not gonna give out about the three packs cus it was a decent enough deal - but at the same time i plain cant afford a season ticket, i scrounged for the cash for those three at the time, so saying thats a load of crap.

I'd say hardly anyone bought just 1 of the 3 pack tickets on it's own...so very few people are going to be 'up' on the allocation for the semis - at best a few might be breaking even, but most people will probably end up short on tickets.

As had been said, though, the 3 pack was good enough value at the time...and a week ago, before anyone got their allocation of two tickets, did anyone think there was a chance-in-hell of getting to see the semi if they weren't in a club/season ticket holders etc...?

I still think this was a good move by Leinster Branch. So it isn't perfect, so the extended family can't attend the match with me, so I don't have an extra four tickets to tout....so what?! I'm just happy to have got the two tickets, and if that makes me Leinster Branch's be-yach, well that's fine by me...

Not particularly helpful, unless you'll sell me yours, and your semi allocation:D

My real objection is that Leinster, got more tickets allocated, than there are seats in the RDS, why were't the regular HC attendees looked after BEFORE the clubs got their allocation.

I disagree tbh...my season ticket cost me less than 150 euro. I've no money either but i especially save up for this ticket each season (admitedly this is my main past time). I've more or less given up drinking as i can't afford it. Have you gven up the three pints a week the season ticket would cost? I've missed one game and i'm missing the one tomorrow as i'm in Liverpool now...meaning each game is costing me about 12 euro.

But apologies for the over glib post
