Question on auto-play

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this:

Basically, when I insert any CD I used to get a pop-up prompting me what to do, sort of like this one:

    screen25tt.th.jpg

But now, for some reason I just get this:

    screen19oh.th.jpg

Any idea how to get the prompt window back? I have right-clicked the CD drive under My Computer, gone to Auto-Play and clicked "Prompt me each time...", but that didn't work. I've no idea what else to do...

I am fairly sure that this is happening because I once click on "Open Folder to view Files", and clicked on the "Remember this choice" checkbox. But how can I undo this?

Try changing the auto-play setting with and without a CD in the drive and see if that does anything.

Try TweakUI under the My Computer section it has a sub-menu for Auto-play which you can enable/disable.

Lastly install something which will register itself in the auto-play menu, the reason the auto-play menu comes back even if you told it not to prompt you is that if a new program is installed that adds entries to the auto-play it will prompt you again with these new options.

I'd try something like WinAMP or Nero.
