I have 2 sticks of 256mb SDRAM PC133 in my Pentium 4 machine, does that mean that i can only use PC133 ram sticks?

ok i think i get it, cause the machine only has a 133MHz data bus you use the same matched sdram

I think the only alternative is Pc100 which is slower but no cheaper really, also if you mix the two the machine defaults to the slower memory.

Shop4memory continue to sell PC100 & PC133 SDRAM if your having trouble locating some.

Komplett's cheaper than shop4memory for that RAM, though you'll get it *a lot* cheaper second-hand. The limit's usually 1.5GB if there's 3 slots on your motherboard.
