Hi there,

I'm just wondering what the most popular web management packages for news sites. For example www.breakingnews.ie puts up several articles every day under each section and makes the previous days available aswell but you can also search through the archives aswell. Obviously there is a database but what are the front end packages for news site similar to that.

Is there anyone working with those packages on here? Which ones are the best?

Most of the mainstream news sites use custom-built software. It it wasn't custom when they bought it, it's custom not long after because of individual requirements (and often the whims of marketroids).
