I was planning to make my own blog using blogger.com. Had planned on uploading photos to my posts directly. But I've noticed recently that alot of people seem to upload their photos to flickr.com first. They have the photos displayed individually on their blog page but you can click on the photos and it opens the pic in the flikr page.

Why do people do this? Would it not be ok for me to upload my photos directly to my blog page?

flickr offers up different sizes and..stuff... *shrug*
Perhaps they need more storage or exposure? Or like to keep things organised a certain way? *boggle*
Why not ask one or two of them?
