DC++ problem

    I am using a version of DC++ called Phantom DC++ which i think is specially made for the campus that i am staying in (Trinity HALL)
    however i can no longer log into any hubs, since the break and since i think i installed Avast anti-virus.

    Basically when I try and log in, with the anti-virus running I get told I am connected, but immidiately become disconnected,

    If i turn off, or when I deleted avast antivirus 4.6 I get this message;
    "*** Connecting to trinityhall.dyndns.org:110...
    *** Connection refused by target machine"

    It appears to be affected by th einternet mail provider?
    Does anyone have a clue what could be going wrong?

    Would the fact that you are using dyndns be causing a problem?
    trinityhall.dyndns.org

    Is your mate using the same address or an IP?
