    Hi,

I have no net access in work, and I have to sneak net fixes on other peoples computers, but I was wondering, is there any good email groups that I can register my work addy to so I can have somne contact with the online world?

Usenet / newgroups though from what I've seen they're just full of spam.

No, to be honest there isn't much left in the world of e-mail that is open to a large number of people and not spam infested!

Companies will ruin anything they can with their spam, the new charges being brought in by providers such as AOL should be a welcome aid to combatting the amount of crap that those companies circulate.
