    Hi guys

Does anyone know anything about the ruins and graveyard at Glendalough? I was recently down there and took mental note of it as a place that felt very active and certainly a place I would like to investigate.

Anyone know this location or have any aspirations on investigating it?

yep go to the last car park ,walk along the righthandside of the lake and keep going till you come to the mines .There not underground mines ,there old rock mines you can see the remains of houses where the miners lived .:D

    Friends,

The Lake is haunted by a girl in either a White dress, witnessed various times at the upper lake, ruined mines end or at the beginning of the Lake carpark end, usually wearing a reddish dress.

Reputed to be the female that lusted after St Kevin, he was supposed to have whipped her away with nettles and she drowned in the lake.

The reports of the entity of the upper end of the lake sounds very like the typical "White Woman" (Bean Sidhe) Banshee or the typical Celtic variation reported in numerous places around Ireland where there are lakes.

Under the stars on a moonlit night you will see the occassional mist drift along the upper end and yes it is very spooky and open to Intrepretation

The lower end at the graveyard is totally bereft of earth bound spirits. I think the place is sooo spiritual that anyone will find rest there.
