rsta, fair play and all that. To be honest I'd noticed that about the ad myself, clever marketing if you ask me... Baileys has always been a womans drink but recently it (and drinks like Hennesy) seem to be enjoying a resurgance amongst young people as a result of hip-hop and rap... they're just riding the wave.

TBH, the trend to use African-American actors to make a product cool is nothing new. It's refreshing that they didn't portray them in a ghetto. However, I'd say that's more to do with their product placement than any real attempt at breaking the sterotype.

And yes, the ad. bugs me too. The other one had merits: it was shot well,etc.

Now... where does this wonderful and enlightening thread go from here?
