My best friend in Thai boxing circles is a wee grumpy man from Scotland called Mick Pazowski.

we got on from a house on fire from the first time we ever trained, due to the fact he was new to Dublin and knew no one he asked me would i go fro a pint with him... I liked him from that moment on :)

Me and Mick fought outa the bridgestone gym many times in some big shows in the Uk and ireland, fighting as the main events many times

We both have a sever love of Muay Thai and of drinking, which is why we are mates to this day....

Mick went to live in thailand, as he got an offer to train in a top gym in Thailand and get regular fights. He is on a plane back to ireland in the next few days and although he wont post on forums that much I hope ya all give him a warm welcome as i am thrilled to have him back here....

he used to move in with me before fights so that we wouldnt go on the beer, much to Paul Kellys delight :) although in hind sight it was a bad idea as it only meant we didnt have to meet in a pub we could just get cans in :) not to Paul kellys delight

ofr those of you that dont know him, heres a picture of him for ya :D:D:D:D:D:D

that was good fight. as far as i remember, he cuaght some big elbows, in round 2 or 3, and was bleeding from the mouth. but then he just kept on battling. a well impresive come back from what looked like serious cut. much respect!

Saw Mike fight at one of the Armageddon shows. Very composed and at ease in the ring. Was well impressed

    drinking is a no no

    drinking is great!

drink hard, then train hard the next day and sweat it all out!

Paddy, I hope Mike took the proscribed dose's of Singha followed by liberal application of Mekong (only to be taken internally, of course!) after that fight. Mind you in hindsight, I don't think the above would do ANYTHING for your head the next day. :D
