you had better have good connections/sources? I reckon this will probably have the most sought after tickets ever...

There won't be such a thing as a "spare" ticket for this game!

how do you actually get tickets?? do you have to be a member of a rugby club.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 448 ✭✭jimmyboy

ticketmaster may release tickets as they did for the leinster tolouse game for an hour

Is this officially a home tie for leinster? Also, who controls where the match is played the IRFU?

Tickets go through clubs and all season tiocket holders get first dibs, whats left is often released through Elverys and Spar Donnybrook...keep ears to the ground and keep checking the site. As a season ticket holder I shall kick back and await my advance offer of up to 4 tickets....."aghhh" smug sigh....:D

I would really doubt any of the tickets will make general sale but you never know.

How many are the munster branch allowing each official supporter?

Yeah sounds about right. In theory i reckon that there should be loads of leinster tickets available to the general public but i have a feeling that the clubs will hoover them up and flog them for outreagous prices.
No news yet, but I'd say one at best. The clubs will take a massive amount of them.
Each leinster season ticket holder is allowed 4.

This is why being in a women's club sucks ass. We don't get any tickets, they go to men's first, then the men's cronies. then the Munster fans ... Then us.

Just tape down the boobs, a bit of a haircut, and bam you could go for the mens team Amz :D

I've never heard of Munster getting any part of a Leinster allocation, the opposite has happened. We live in hope that it does happen though. If Leinster do decide to sell tickets in Spar expect to see busloads of Munsterfans queueing up.

4 tickets a piece for supporters club members in Leinster! Fair play to the Leinster supporters club for getting that deal! In Munster the clubs would kill off the supporters club if they could.

Heard on the radio this morn that its 20,000 tickets to Leinster and 20,000 to Munster and the rest to the IRFU. None will be sold publicly

A friend is on the committee - there's some delay in annoucing it as they have to decide the best way to get the tickets to fans .. they've very little time to do what they did for the 'perg' game

You're just dying to make me pay for my prior evilness, aren't you?! Aaagh, the things I have to do for Munster  But I also have a Leinster shirt, so if I want I can disguise myself before entering enemy quarters!

    Ruggie

Im a season ticket holder (have only just returned from Toulouse, what a trip!). . . we have been emailed details which say we can get EITHER 2 Stand and 2 East Terrace OR 4 East Terrace.

I've asked for my 4 East Terrace tickets. . .and it looks like they have charged my Visa card today. . . I'm sorted!!!!

I had season tickets previously and applied late this season. I could not get one! Its not like they were sold out, they can sell as many STs as bloody seats in the RDS!! why would they turn away money???
ANy way I at least have some consolation that I am in a draw for tickets as a HC3 match pack purchaser!!
I even already had final tickets.....

    Thrilled for ya SS.

I'm not rubbing it in. . . im just glad we've made it this far in what was billed as a 'development' year. . . it makes all those bleak cold nights on the Terraces at Donnybrook so worth while. After years of grief with coaches coming/going this is great news for Leinster Rugby.

Couldnt belive how many faces there were over in Toulouse that no regulars recognised. . .some of these people are now the 'fans' that are putting their sob stories on leinsterfans.com in the hope of getting a ticket.

If we thought we had bandwagon problems leading up to Toulouse the problem is worse now. . .

To those out there - I firmly believe, if you honestly think you deserve a ticket. . you will get one before the big day. . .these things have a way of working themselves out.

Ruggie - your card could be in the process of being charged. . .Its only this afternoon I noticed an unbilled transaction, I rang MBNA and hey presto its Leinster Rugby for the amount of 4 tickets plus the c/c fee.

. . id say hes working his way through the faxes/emails/hand delivered forms. .youll be fine. . .there must be a fair few!

I faxed mine from the hotel in Tolouse on Monday morning (after getting a mate to forward it from my work email to my yahoo a/c)

How did you send yours in to him?

emailed it about 30mins after getting it. I even asked him to acknowledge that he received it which he did.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 284 ✭✭sheepshagger

If he acknowledged it - you have nothing to worry about.

He might be dealing with faxes first. . .or your credit card issuer might take longer to show a purchase. . .

    Youll be Grand!!
