Hero and villain have been having a bit of fun together. He seems to like min-reraising preflop, and I've seen him turn over AK and 88 doing it.

Stacks are around 2k. I cant actually properly remember the table conditions, but I should have a TAGGY image, and I certainly raise a lot on the button.

I'm not 100% about my line ... is it best (ignoring river)

    Preflop
Folded to hero on button who opens for 35 with KhQh, Sb folds, BB makes it 80. Since we are deep, I call.

    Flop (160)
    Qc 5h 4h
Gorgeous, villain bets 100, I call

    Turn (360)
    3s
Villain bets 200, I call (??? should I press harder here?)

    River (760)
    Qs
Villain bets 400 with 1k remaining, I minraise with 600 behind (maybe I should push?). I guess he could have AA/KK but I find the 400 on the river fairly strange, so he might well have JJ here.

I dont like the river min-raise as it cant be a bluff, you may as well type in I have a queen. If you go all in he might put you on a missed flush draw (which would be true).

I would only like a raise on the turn if he folds overpairs easily, I dont think he does on this flop. A good place if you decided to take this approach is to min raise the turn then all in on the river, this really looks like QQQ and you get to do a min raise which I know you love

:) ooohhhh baby Minraise me up.

Yeah minraise on the river is pretty transparent alright. I would have pushed if he checked ... but he bet 400 ....????

I should push the river, agreed, leaving 600 back is pointless. If he calls the minraise then he calls a push.

He really looks scared though, doesnt he? I may well have the best hand here.
