Am awaiting the arrival of a Smart modem, does anyone know what model it is likely to be and are there any issues like needing to upgrade the firmware and such?
(have seen a couple of posts referring to this)
    Thanks

As far as I know the more recent modems Smart are sending out already have the updated firmware on them. Best to ask them on their support forum though

The modem arrived. It's an Aolynk model that still requires a firmware upgrade.
The upgrade went smoothly and resulted in a 10/15% increase in speed.
