LCD tv unit - what height?

Looking for a TV unit for a 32" LCD (LE32R41B, to be precise). First question is, what height should it be. Obviously, it'll partly depend on what height the TV stand itself is, so I'm basically wondering, how high off the ground should the top (or bottom) of a 32" LCD be for optimum viewing. It's been on the floor for the last 3 months, so anything would be a step up! (no pun intended)

Second question: anyone recommend anywhere in Dublin that has a good range of TV units? Preferably looking for something in pine, or pretty close to that colour. And don't want to go spending 800 quid for some kind of designer stuff.

    Any suggestions welcome. Thanks.

    MOH,
The rule of thumb is that the hight of the TV should be at eye level (slightly above is Ok) while sitting.
