What's the Max Number of Radiohead Tickets one can buy with Ticketmaster??

    Hi there,

I'd like to buy 4 Radiohead tickets on the Ticketmaster website tmw when they go on sale.

On the website it says you can buy up to 8 but I'm sure I've heard people say here if you buy more than 2 they cancel your order as they think you are a ticket tout. Is this true (it sounds untrue, I doubt ticketmaster care as long as they sell them)?

Secondly do people think this will sell out quickly (or at all). I'm sure I wont have to get up at 8am to order to be sure of tickets but how long do people think this will take to sell out (if at all).

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Ticket limit is 8.

I don't think it will sell out tomorrow but I wouldn't be surprised if it did.

    Thanks,

How many people does Marley Park hold for concerts, presumably lots?

    I believe it's 12,000, but I could be mistaken.

It seems to be sold out. Capacity for Radiohead is apparently 20,000.

To all who got their tickets, see you there!

Sincere sympathies to those who fell victim to yet another ridiculously fast sell-out! I feel your pain.

There really is no excuse for not getting a ticket for this gig, they've been on sale online through various outlets for a week now, i.e WASTE.

Some fecker on ebay has 32 for sale at 140 a ticket. He is going to hell and will die soon because of bad karma so it is ok.

Whats the story with messing with ebay auctions? Is it possible to put insane bids and **** these up all the time.. or do buy nows or anything?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,585 ✭✭✭honru

That's a quick sellout considering their 2003 Point gigs took much longer.

Capacity is in fact 20,000 according to MCD.

Once again I feel the touts are to blame. ALOT of people have recently become casual touts since the oxegen ticket insanity of last year.

The only thing for it is to bite the bullet and not buy off touts otherwise this is going to keep happening.

Also because theres always one.... if you are a tout and are going to post justify your actions .. dont.

    Or perhaps a second night.

    I disagree

am a big Radiohead fan but don't necessarily hang around WASTE much,

have a very very busy job with unpredictable access to the net, when I checked this thread earlier in the week, (prob Wednesday or Thursday) the WASTE allocation had sold out

then at 8am Friday spent half an hour solid trying to get through the ticketmaster website but was taking forever and by the time I was getting past the word verification thing it was timing out

bear in mind this was a very busy part of the day in my work so taking half an hour out for this was pushing it a bit, then I kept trying intermittently all morning Friday but was taking forever to get to word verification or not getting there at all

now I am bitter and twisted that those f**Kheads at ticketshafter allowed EIGHT (yes 8) to be sold in one go to the lowlife touts (or maybe it was a Radiohead policy, either way it's complete sh1te)

and went into Soundcellar yesterday on the off-chance but sadly wasn't to be:(
