I have a feeling Alfie Flits will be running at Aintree. Surprised that he didnt enter the Champion bumper and I'll be even more surprised if he doesn't take his chance at Aintree. A horse with a big reputation he's the one I'll be most looking forward to seeing (apart from Hardy Eustace etc)

fr wishy washy, have you seen any ante-post markets for Aintree anywhere yet? I was looking to have a bet on Asian Maze for the 2.5 mile hurdles on Saturday.

Not Yet, but I reckon we will in the next couple of days on the exchanges and maybe even PP so its as well to have an idea of what you're looking for as regards a decent price.
I believe A M has fully recovered from her tip at the Festival and is supposed to be very well,Tom Mullins said (in the Times) she's in better shape now than before the race in Cheltenham.

As far as I know it will be Thursday before the final declarations are released.

United runs in the 5.30 At Aintree on Friday.

Not sure what price it will be but i expect a good run and it will be better for his run in the Imperial Cup last month.

United ran in France yesterday. Was pulled up after hitting one of their concrete hurdles pretty hard. Wouldn't say we'll see her this week.

i will be very interested in seeing what price SKY'S THE LIMIT is in the big Grade 1 hurdle on Saturday.

Obviously he's going up markedly in class after winning the Coral Cup last time out, but the way he won there - off top weight and a mark of 144 - suggests he's well up to contesting a Grade 1.

STL's only defeat this season has been when trying to give weight to Feathard Lady before Christmas.

Hardy Eustace and My Way De Solzen are also expected to contest the race too, but they had much harder races at Cheltenham and I'm hopeful of a decent price on Sky's The Limit - I think he could be a real star!

    k.

I also like the look of Monkerhostin in the Betfair Bowl on Thursday.

Could be available at about 10/1 and I think that's excellent value. 6th in the Gold Cup, only a length behind L'Ami who is around half the price. Monkerhostin also had L'Ami behind when second to Kicking King in the King George.

My only reservations would be that Monkerhostin has had a real hard season, but I think that would be factored into the price so double-figures could be a nice bit of value.

    k.

Alfie Flits runs tommorow in last race. Is he a good bet at 9-1. Also in the race is pepperoni pete who i rate (ruby walsh riding).

I'm really sure he won't be 9-1, or anywhere near it.

People looking to back it at around 2/1 at the moment on Betfair. If only the tissue forecasters were forced to lay their own prices!
