LA grunge popsters Giant Drag nip in for a show at Dublin’s CrawDaddy.

Playing on April 17, they come armed with a debut album, Hearts And Unicorns, which cheerily references The Breeders, My Bloody Valentine and the Pixies.

Given the amount of noise they make, you might be surprised to find that Giant Drag are only two people – singer Annie Hardy and drummer Micah Calabrese who sounds like he should have a bit part in The Sopranos.

Its great value for €6, and maybe even a 4 hour Mr Scruff session!

Yeah, I've been playing the album a fair bit recently. Great version of Wicked Game on it.
