Hi there, anyone know what the procedure to get broadband working where the line gpes through a local telephone switch i.e. in order to get an outside line you must dial 0. Eircom say the line is enabled but no DSL Sync on modem. Checked filters etc. Tried contacting Eircom but no joy, greatest shower of muppets ever.

NO! BB must be connected to line before it enters switch

Have wondered about this before as a friend of mine is a priest in a monastery where obviously there is a switchboard - do they arrange for particular extensions to have the bb? Or what is the normal practise?
