Can a buyer increase postage after a bid?

I am the sole bidder on an e-bay item. I purposely picked this particular item as the postage was the cheapest (it's a Sky Digibox, so it's big).

I am almost certain the postage was 20 pounds yesterday, yet it appears to have gone to 22 pounds sterling today. Is this possible or am I imagining things?

Is the postage listed down the bottom or in the body of the description? I dont think they can change to original "official" price down the bottom after somebody has bidded. Nothing to stop them changing it to £1000 and have you bound by contract if they could.

    Post the ebay number

I don't know for sure but I don't think they can change the description after bidding has started either. You often see 'xyz added this information on date:' down the bottom of listings - they can only add to, not change what is there.

Dont think you can change the description but you can always add more info after bidding has started.

If they change the post price in the description it will not affect the invoice sent automatically. UNLESS the seller sends a new invoice

Bah, didn't win the auction in the end.

There is a note on the description saying that the seller revised the info. The only update he appears to have made was to the reserve price, so I presume if he changed the postage, it would have been in there too.

Maybe I misread it the first time.

no they cannot change the postage -

although if you check your prefs - you can combine postage (as a seller) and offer a discount + you can add handling charges.

they can edit certain attributes if there are no bids and more than 12 hours left. they can only add to description after this but this cannot be done in bulk on live item as yet.

you can mass edit or bulk edit (2 separate issues) on shop items only using your smp/sm.

upgrade to seller manager as its FREE. And if you have a shop upgrade from sales reports to sales reports PLUS for FREE.
