No audio from magnet set top box

    Has anyone encountered this problem. I do not have any audio from magnets set top box. Happy enough with the picture but sadly no sound.

    anyone have this problem and know how to fix. I just had it all connected today and havent changed any default settings.

    Don't have a clue about Magnet's boxes but I'm sure it's connected via a scart lead to the TV.
    Have you made sure each end is pushed home firmly or even tried another scart lead?? Most common source of picture but no sound problem.

    no its not connected by SCART. I connected it via the TV Out socket on the set top box to the ariel socket on the video card of the PC. apologies I forgot to mention that.

    The card is set up right, I am able to get audio when I have rabbit ears hooked up to the TV card. but with the magnet box I hear nothing. the picture is grand so it is tuned in correctly.
