Some kind of intel cpu running at a massive 66mhz
16mb ram
2 voodoo 2mb cards for video cards
All i want to know is if this pc can run bf2 on high at like 80 frames per second or more

1.7ghz pentium M
512mb ram

And if i get a
4200+
2gb of ram
512mb gtx 7900 from nvidia
will it run any better

I don't think that can even display the splash screen, never mind start the setup.exe on the DVD

Should run on that, but don't expect much eye-candy with an integrated graphics card (I'd actually expect 800x600, all low to medium, and no AA for decent FPS). It runs on my D600 with similar specs (1.6 P-M, 512 RAM, ATi M9 32MB).

BF2 wont run on a gforce 4 at all I know ive tried ya only get a black screen, was the reason I got a new VId card. There was some guy posted on boards a while ago some patch that allowed a fgorce 4 to run it but it looked real bad and tanks were invisible and sniping dident work and few other problems.

Also the blurb on the back of the Box is not gospel it says the minium Nvidia card that will run it is a FX5700 and I have it runing on an FX5200 though it looks bad my son dosent mind he is only happy he can play too.

that was the_syco. It works, but barely.
In the end he got his account a pb ban because of this shader hack to make the game work

Well I supose that just gives the guy the option to play it in single player or get a feel for the game till he gets his account baned. How long did it take psyco to get baned as a matter of intrest?
