    I'm smothering.

    Drinking Rubex effervescent.

What remedies do you use when you have a cold?

Usually lots of freshly squeezed orange juice and some olbas oil on your pillow at night.

My mam swears by the good aul chicken soup.

    Hope you’re feeling better soon x x

I use nurofen cold and flu and drink loads of fluids. I generally don't drink anything with Vitamin C around this time because its too acidic and I end up with a kidney infection aswell.

Time off? Can't. Just started my new job 2 weeks ago. Good impression and all that...

Lots of fluids, lots of paracetamol, a hot water bottle for the feet, a hot whiskey and off to bed early. Maybe some nose spray to stop the sniffling.
    Worked for me, anyway...

Yeah, I used Uniflu before, and had good results. But the second time I tried it, no joy.

A hot whiskey with sugar and lemon before bed usually does the job for me.

Me too, especially if the sandwich is loaded with a triple helping of Kerry Fox mustard.

If you HAVE to go to work the Lemsip tablets usually keep me alive when there just aint no time to stay in bed! Dosed up on them meself at the moment, everyone seems to be sick lately!

    Roffle

I will actually pay you to do this.
Scratch that, I'll buy the vodka and bring the camera.

On topic; I always found those Solpa-Flu tablets to work quite well. That or just stay in bed for 12/24 hours. Literally, just stay in bed. Worked for me.

    Best cold flu remedy.

Buy a carton of orange juice
Put it in your fridge and wait till it's freezing cold
Then drink it all with three vitamin C tablets

Then take a shower and clean everything around you.
Then sleep sleep sleep Seriously sleep is the best cure but make sure your warm at all times with fresh air in the room too.

This makes you feel better when having a cold anyway.

The uniflu is not working this time.
