Loud music and hearing

Went to Buzzcocks Friday. I didn't think the gig was particularly loud and on Saturday had usual buzzing in ears, but nothing terrible. Woke up Sunday effectively deaf in left ear, and impaired in right. Both feel "full", like a very heavy cold, lots of noise in left ear.

There's been improvement in the right ear, but no change in the left. I will be seeking medical attention to it today, but has anyone had similar experience and can suggest whether I'm looking at permanent irreversible damage, or just a long recovery?
