It depends how far you are willing to travel. I don't Swords has a club anymore. However there's plenty of clubs to pick and chose from nearby. Check out Badmintonireland.com then go into clubs/club links page to get the contact details for the following:
    • Baily - They play in Sutton
    • Dublin City University
    • PSLC -Portmarnock Sports and Leisure Centre
    • Raheny - They play in Baldoyle Badminton Centre
    • KADCA - They play in Baldoyle Badminton Centre (High Standard)

Also in Baldoyle Badminton Centre are the following teams:
    • Baldoyle Badminton Club
    • Startrites Badminton Club
    • Teamsters Badminton Club

You might also want to check out:
    - Donabate who play in the new Leisure Centre out that way.
    - Portrane - not sure exactly where they play, Portrane obviosuly!!! :D

    - Or my old club, Skerries Badminton Club. One of, if not, the cheapest clubs in Dublin and Districts leagues. Just under the €200 mark for the year. Also, they won the 2005 All Ireland Club of the Year Award. There's one person in the club already who travels from Swords.

    Hope the above proves useful.

Also, Baldoyle Badminton Centre runs an open summer club two nights a week so you would meet people there who could possible recommend other clubs.

Donabate badminton is no longer running. They weren't getting the numbers. Does anyone know if any of the clubs in the area are running summer badminton?

There used to be one up in Rivervalley. Not sure if its still going.

Rolestown - very good club out there. I played against them when I was younger and they were very strong. Like bullets coming back at us! Contact Marie - 087-2252724

Malahide - saw in the Northside People today that they are looking for new members. Located behind St. Andrew's National school. Tues and Thurs at 8pm. contact there is Richard Case 087 2266669.

Thinking about gett ing back into myself...
