Using different Speakers?

I had a combined sub/processor thingy that was Ok (not a great sound on either music or movies, but occassional brilliance), but it went pop a few weeks back.

I have Polk in-wall rear/ctr speakers and two Royd Minstrels to use as fronts (or on their own for music) and want to get a new amp/dvd (possibly) to hook up to this lot. The whole thing has to be unobtrusive, so was thinking of getting a Kiss DP-1100 and a Logitech z-5500 sub/amp/processor, but using my existing speakers.

Will this sound sh!t? Anyone any alternatives? I'd love to get an av reciever but literally don't have anywhere to put it?

    EDIT - I've found this:
    http://www.yamaha-uk.com/av_amps_receivers/?product_id=28

wonder how it is compared to this:
