best unlocks

I get two unlocks soon and was wondering what are the best to rack up the kills...

Im thinking about just getting the 2 sniper unlocks cause ive picked them up b4 and their class...

9/10 i pick special forces so i wanna play another kit for a while...


i only have the first medic and first SF atm...

The 2nd support machine gun is exceptionally lethal. People seem to just wave the thing at me and i die.

G36C, G36E, PKM or G3 are all well regarded.

The L96A1 is by far my fav and what i consider to be the best unlock, its so accurate and when you have enough practice with it its always one shot one kill (I still need a good bit of practice with it though)

Your kinda limited in the unlocks you can pick. The second ones are always the best. the g36 class of weapons are bloody great(MG36, G36E,etc) but they're second unlocks... second for medic and for support. I Think one of them is the first unlock for Spec/Ops.

the g36 second unlock for medic is absolutely fab for up close and personal maps, running streets etc with 3 burst fire is awesome.

Depends on what class you play. The 2nd support gun is fantistic, great accuracy and very little spread when you go fully auto and doe'snt warm up too quickly. 2nd medic gun is fantics, no sight but good up close and medium range. spec ops 1st is great too,very little recoil, all 3 glock guns

Dao-12 is a must for AT, great up close, hated the MP5\peashooter.

G3 nice but at 20 bullets a mag, you're reloading alot, and reloading can be deadly at times. F2000, great gun, noobtuber, pretty heavy recoil oif it, but its got a sight which makes it's a good medium range gun.

Snipers don't play that much, the L9(2nd unlock) is definately good.

Engineers rarely if ever play them, only unlocks i don't have.

The first unlock for the SF sucks balls.
I never use it.
The sight on the first one is way better, the medic unlock is also better than the SF one...

You are so very wrong. You reject a weapon that is measurably more accurate and more damaging because it doesn't have a kewl laser sight...

Plus there are times when the fully auto on the G36C is a lifesaver and the burstfire is death on the G36E.

I thought my 2 shotguns were my best unlocks I dident notice any real difference when I got my sniper unlock. But from basic to unlock the engineer shoot gun had to be the best improved weapon verses the basic one. I couldent get a kill at all with the basic till I got my 7 shot wonder.

My choices would be

Spec ops 1st Unlock
Medic Special Forces Unlock (or 2nd tier)
Assault Special Forces Unlock (or 2nd tier) Ya also get flashbangs with this

But then it does depend on what you play. I wouldnt get the 2nd teir Spec ops or 2nd tier engie & anti tank unlocks till last. Their 1st unlocks are good though.

Assault & medic 1st tier aint my favourites either.

Also im not sure if its Teir or Tier :P

Just to reiterate,

The L96A1 is the BEST weapon in BF2 by miles :eek:

I got it last night and fell in love at first shot:rolleyes:

Just came out of a server, 18 kills, 7 assists, no deaths.....its nearly 1 shot kill all the time:D

Praise EA for finally giving me a decent sniper weapon to use :eek:

the L96A1 is the same weapon as the US M24, it's just a different skin. It behaves the exact same in all ways.

The Scar-L isn't that great, I sometimes go back to using the G36C in total frustration. I don't seem to get the same 'flukey' one-shot long-distance kills with the Scar-L.

The reticle is finer so it allows for more precise aiming and therefore may give the appearance of being more accurate when in fact all it is doing is allowing the user to aim more accurately.

I also dont care what any of those stats or hit points sites say

I played with it last night and its much better than ANY other sniper rifle in game. 1 shot kills most of the time
Was never like that with the M24, thats a piece of crap imho
