Wolfe, from the outset, in case I get named an 'old boy' I wan't to say that although I am a member of boards for about a year, I have only started posting in the racing section in the past couple of months, so I am a newbie. This is not an old boys club. The other members have been very helpful, and some great racing debate goes on here.
Then, every so often, you get really arrogant posters that get patronising and boring to be honest. I think the ban was more than justified. He insulted the other members, because someone questioned his 'wisdom'. How condensending is that? I am gambling a good few years, and I don't need to be listning to shít like this:

remember that it's mug punters like you lads that allow the winning punters to survive, keep up the good work.

Or what is quite frankly very childish posts like:

I have a tip for Limerick on Saturday and if this thing runs it is an absolute certainty, the trainer thinks that it has about 3 stone in hand. I will not however be posting the name of that horse on this forum because you have pissed me off.

When Tomkelly quizzed him about laying he replied:

Let's get something straight. HE ONLY POSTED 2 TIPS. One winner and one loser. There have been loads of good tips here apart from his (Fade gave a 16/1 (10/1 sp) winning tip yesterday


2 More Things:

1. If he is only 17, as his username may suggest, (which he did not deny when asked) he should not be on a gambling forum.

2. He already said he wont be posting anymore before he was banned.


As I said before, although I love getting good tips, I dislike condensending attutides towards other posters, also his tips are unproven, and I don't like to be called a mug either.

Lets be honest, these guys like finn and europeboy who think they are experts or 'in the know' won't be rushing to give a screenshot of their betfair p&L any day soon to be honest.
If you were logging in with bated breath just to see if one guy posts a tip, well then that is sad in my humble opinion.

This place is a great place for horse racing fans to debate racing, and give tips in an ADULT, non- patronising fasion. Lets keep it that way.
