This is a long shot but I was wondering does anyone here know of a good book on audio effects from an engineering point of view? Information on circuits (not effential) to create different effects, characteristics of different distortions (essential) like diode clamp distortion etc? Thanks.

I got the book a while back, It lacks info on how to design circuits yourself but has some good projects in it and he explains each of them in detail. has some really simple projects to more complicated ones.
