However (this is embarassing) but the other night i had to fart- so i went to- and i soiled myself(as in diarorrea)

I thinks its the water causing it but I dont know what to do as Im supposed to be drinking a lot of water but im scared to

i would imagine its the amount of fluid that is effecting your ability to pass wind,

When i had dysentry a few years a go in romania, i had something similar, altho i was in a hospital.

The diet you are on wouldn't be lipotrim or some other liquid diet would it, I have heard of that happening in that circumstance.

I'd be careful if I were you.

There have been cases of people killing themselves by drinking too much water. Mostly in marathons admittedly but nevertheless worth being aware of

What sort of diet is this anyway? Maybe you can post it ?

Sounds like you haven't got enought fiber in your diet, just get your self some bran flakes or something similair and it should sort it out.

eating 'healthy foods' varies from person to person. eating weight-watchers meals and highly processed 'diet foods' is not healthy eating. Eating fresh, unprocessed organic foods in balanced moderate portions is ;) . It does sound like there's a lack of fibre in your diet as Emmet suggested. Tell us what you eat daily and it'll give us an indication of exactly what you're ingesting.

Is the bucket water supply safe? Is it contaminated?

Are you affecting you salt balance?

I have had a case of travels diarorrea before while i was in asia. What ever caused it i don't know but the sympthons where worse due to the fact i was suffering from dehydration, even though i was drinking 3-4 litres of water a day at least, went to see a doctor you said i wasn't drinking enough water, so for whatever reason my body was taking on the water properly, but advised me to drink sports drinks to help rehydrate me which worked a treat, well that and the drugs i was given but the sports drinks are generally better then water for rehydrating yourself in those sorts of circumstances. So have a bottle of powerade or gatorade during the day aswell till your symthons go away

So how much water a day are you drinking. 2-3 litres a day should be enough.

I concur. A lot of that "health" food can wreak havoc, especially if it is the foundation of your diet.

Post your diet and anything else of relevance, ie any other symptoms that would be indicative of an illness or anything like that.

Thats pretty much the calorific equivalent of my breakfast. You need to eat more I'm willing to wager. Please post you height, weight, BF% if you know it and your excercise routine?

ok ask yourself is this a diet that you are going to keep going for the rest of your life. Cause if it is not then you are at some point in the future going to have to change your diet again and chances are that you are going to go back to what you where eating which will lead you back to the weight you are now.
At your height and weight should be looking at a long term solution and should be looking to change the way you eat not just for the short term but for the long term. Yes the diet you are on now will have quicker results initally however it will only get you so far unless you stay at it.
Also besides curves you should try and do differnt activities as after reading aboutr curves it is only going to be able to get you so far and up to a certain level of fitness as what you do never changes so your body is going to be challenged. You should also take up things like walking or dance classes as soemthing different aswell.

No, they wouldn't and that is most of your current problem. Depending on your age, height, lean mass and activity levels you need more calories than you are eating. If you consistently under-eat on the number of calories that you need for any length of time your metabolism slows down and goes into starvation mood, where it will hold onto every bit of bodyfat it can as it thinks that you are not in a position to feed yourself and it will do what it can to survive.

The best way to lose weight diet wise is to eat 4 to 5 smaller meals a days at regular 3 hour intervals ( or there abouts ) that consist of mostly protein, some slow digesting carbs and some healthy fats.

Add to this that you are going to Curves ( " a gym for real women" , what, so the physically fit are not real women? ) and you have a problem. Sure, it's better than nothing but not by much. Get yourself into a real gym, get yourself a program and learn something about nutrition. Don't assume that salads and low fat yogurt is the best way to lose weight, because it isn't.

If it makes you feel any better the above diet is currently being touted by Angelina Jolie and her fitness trainer and has appeared in Heat magazine. You can call it a fad, we'll call it the way most of us have been eating for years while the rest of the world caught up.

Your body needs a certain number of calories a day just to maintain itself. The bigger you are, the more calories it needs. Men tend to have a higher % of muscle (its just how they're made) and thats why they can eat more than women can. But at 5ft and 16 stone your basic calorific requiremnt every day is about 2300 calories. If you go on a very low-calorie diet you will, in the short term, lose weight, but its water and muscle and will go back on as soon as you eat normally. You're also losing a lot of water and salts with this..erm.. toiletry problem.

In order to lose weight effectively you need to reduce your daily calorie intake by about 10-15%, any more than this and your body will go into starvation mode. So you should be eating 1950-2100 calories a day. As your weight decreases, so will your calorie needs.

You are not eating enough. Leave out the corn flakes, they have little nutritional value, far too easily digested, no roughage. Porrridge is best, low fat, high fibre. Make sure all your bread/ rice and pasta is wholemeal, eat snacks mid-morning and mid-afternoon, fill up on fruit, veg sticks, nuts(handful= 1 portion). ncrease your intake of fibrous foods- wholemeal, vegetables and fruit (with skins), nuts, seeds, pulses.
