Whats the verdict on euro forces?

The maps are fairly good,espcially the tank battle one.It,s starting too get a little bit boring for me i.e.the same three maps over and over again.What do ye think?There seems to be very little servers for it also.

Take 3 BF2 maps and play them over and over again and it'll soon get boring too.

There are about 2000 ranked BF2 servers and 445 host EF maps.

its ok, names take a while to light up so team kills are up a bit ive noticed. its just 3 new maps really, nothin special.:D

i like it. operation smoke screen is defo one of my favourite maps now along with great wall. the other map i'm not as keen on

I love operation smoke screen, its a great map...although I think all three are excellent, and as a medic the Famas is an excellent gun...overall its worth the €10.

i think there great cause its so easy to get high scores

great wall - just be a medic or support
smokes screen - a tank(obviously) or the old c4 on a car, jump out and blow up 3 tanks is good
quary - the su-34 and f-15 are the way to go, so many targets

i definatley believe it was worth the money, and if your gettin bored, just play diferent maps....:p ..duh

I just dled it at the weekend and while I havent played it too much my initial thoughts is that it just seems to be large tanks battles, also the Euro forces always seem to win (I was on 3 maybe 4 servers and Eurp always won? could have been unlucky I guess).

The tank battles I thought were quite fun, going up against tanks all the time it was more challenging.

Again just my initial thoughts

They work best when mixed in with the other maps as your not playing the smae 3 over and over.

Great Wall - good but find it difficult to navigate, admittedly more experience will help this but sometimes feel like there should be more ways in and out

Smokescreen - one of the best maps they've produced in terms of looks

Quarry - can be good although if there are a few good pilots on one team it becomes totally unbalanced really quickly and there is very little you can do to deal with it if you lack any good pilots on your team

Overall worth the €10 imo

its a steaming pile of poo. i doubt i will put as many hours into bf2 as i used to. hopefully they dont make a complete ballsup of 2142

Just played Quarry there for the first time today. I mostly stuck to Great Wall previously as I'm not a air/vehicle fan. (Mainly cos I'm shite in them )

Anyway, thought I'd hate this map but there are huge sniper possibilites. Had a great time picking off inf from hilltops. Nothing better than a headshot from long range.

GREAT maps thats all there is too it really. Op smoke screen has some great tank battles, tabra qurry is well laid out and great wall is good for infantry battles.

great maps. op smokescreen would be almost perfect if you could just turn off the machines that allow ****heads to fly. they completely ruin any chance and fun at tank and infantry battles.

While I can understand people being disapointed with the game , if it was me I would move on and not feel the need to comment on how bad I thought it was . This is not aimed directly at you Jim , but there does seem to be a few of the BF community who feel let down by EA/Dice and have decided to move on from the game , which is fair enough and justified in most cases , but like I said , if it was me I would do just that and let others get on with it if they want .

I don't play Call of Duty anymore because I thought the second one's online play was rubbish , but I don't feel the need to go to the COD forum and post it .

I didn't say EF sucks, I said BF2 sucks.
But now you mention it, the reasons I hate BF2 could not be changed in such a mod or "expansion" then yes, I guess it sucks to.
