Help Me With Msn Messenger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Ive got the 7.5 version of msn messenger and it worked fine up until about two weeks ago.
    All of a sudden whenever I or anyone else tries to sign onto msn messenger from my computer it pretty much says that "sign in is not possible" because its busy or something at the moment and there are 3 options...."troubleshoot"...."close" and something like "try again"....
    Anyone got ANY suggestions?

    Are you sure your password/username are corrently written in? maybe MSN is doing some maintenance and service is not available(doubt it'd last 2 weeks though) and finally maybe your account got hacked? told password to anyone?

    it cant be that because I can sign in properly from other computers

    Are you having any issues with other programmes that connect to the internet?
    Installed any software more specifiiclly firewalls just before the issue?
    Are you running and antivirus and is your operating system up to date? Ran a spyware/malware scan recently?
    Finaly have you tried reinstalling messanger?

    ive treid reinstallin it and just tried signing in now and the message actually says something about it making several attempts to sign in and that there could be a setting for the firewall that may be causing the problem......
    I was running zonealarm when it started and uninstalled that and installed norton anti virus or else AVS

    Can you disable ALL antivirus/webfiltering software and firewalls and attempt to access it again?
    This is most likely cause by a piece of software blocking messanger....

    are you using a proxy in IE? this can affect msn messenger.

    Go inot add/remove programs and remove MSN and download it again.
