Just a quick question on Electric Picnic, my younger brother and his mate want to go with me this year but are both 17, does anyone know how strict Electric Picnic are? I know Oxegen is a joke in regards to this, but I didnt see any young people there last year so I'm not sure if he should bother getting a ticket for fear of being refused.

Oh and please don't start ****ting on about underagers at festivals, it does my head in when some minor asks a question about Oxegen on here and loads of members start giving him/her loads about why people under the age of 18 shouldnt be going, thanks

No under 18s allowed at all, accompanied by an adult or otherwise

would they accept provosionals or just full licences, I might just give my brother my provosional as he looks like me in the photo ;)

Any licence, they're very proud of the reviews they get for atmosphere and crowd so they're dead strict on keeping under 18s out

hhhmmm be a bit akward with having to bring a piece of id although i suppose a more mature crowd is worth it, fairly sure this is gonna be my last oxegen thanks to the crowd getting progressively worse over the years.

I definitely had the impression it was geared towards the older folk, especially with headliners like the Pet Shop Boys and Gary Numan so I would assume it is stricter than the average music fest

He'll get asked for it if he looks young more so if it's just him and his other young friend...
