    Because it is the national colour - azure blue or Azzurro - hence the Azzuri.
    Also is it the colour on their presidents flag.

    a very good question, (one for the history board which there is no good debaitch a factured new country why did they adopt blue, doesnt really matter they are playing some good rugby, just goes to show you that bringing teams like that into national competions is good. I know its not the right thread but I think we need the arges in the six nations to beef it up and give it a bit of a bit of a push.

    to refine the post a bit from a drunken ****, definately we need more high quality teams to to increase the quality of the northern hem game.hence we need a bit of more agression in the six nations tourment, this is why we need the arges in it,
