On another site they're sharing Ghost Stories & some of them are pretty strange / freaky.

Anyone here got some good (true) ones?

My uncle, Aunt, and two friends were trekking by the railway track one day not to far from the house when there were youngsters and under the bridge was a derelict cottage down a country lane (must to admit is spooky and in it many times myself) and as there were approaching the house they seen a mature woman like a vision through the window of the main front room, of course when they all seen it, they ****ted it so badly they somersaulted over the steel gates and ran the whole way home. They told their parents, they could give a clear description of what she looked like, and of course they thought they were insane.. They didn't leave their houses alone for a few months afterworlds

As it turned out it is haunted. They're all adults now and are all still convinced they saw what they saw, they told me when I was only 8, yes just 8 and I couldn't sleep for weeks with the light off!!!:o I was really resentful for hearing it in the first place, mind you even at my age I always pop down there to see if I could see anything, nope nothing. But it's freaky...


On more story not to far from where I'm from is 17th century castle and I was the best cunning of my friends I decided that we should all go to
To see this castle, now when I think back it was hilarious and devious of me...
Well I took the lads down, and were all young probs about 8/9. I made up the biggest load of bollox and got them all paranoid about this ghost. Later I pretended that there was a ghost sitting on the roof of the castle and we quite near and convinced them what I saw, I did a freak show and even cried, don't know how I did it, but they all ran home, including me in hysterics, on of the guys was ****ting it for quite a few weeks after.....:)
