    Hi,

I'm planning to come to Ireland next summer. I probably don't need to tell you that your country is a paradise for a photographer! I've been in the south west already (in 2000), now we are headed to Donegal and Galway.

I'm looking for a good Irish outdoor photography magazine to do some inspiration, something like the english "Outdoor photography".

    Any suggestion?

    Patrizia

    Hi Patrizia,

I'm dutch myself and been living here in Ireland for nearly 3 years now. You're absolutely right, it's a paradise for photographers with so much unspoiled nature. Donegal is one of my favorite places, make sure you go to the most northern part of Ireland, which is in county Donegal, when you're there. There's some beautiful cliffs out there. I don't think there's many irish photography magazines out there, I mostly buy UK magazines here. But what helps me when I'm on a trip is to buy detailed maps for a few euro's of the area I'm going to visit. You can buy these maps in any tourist office, I bought some very good maps in the tourist information office in Letterkenny (Donegal), you'll find "point of interests" on the map which usually are great places to visit with the most breathtaking panorama views. You'll also be able to see every small road on those maps which you won't see or find on the normal road maps. So good luck and don't forget to post some of your photo's on the board!

    Groeten,
    Dimitry
